I love my high speed internet. I think it is very important in all areas. It is very useful for schools, businesses, and for lesiure.
The world is moving at such a high speed, that we all want quicker and better internet access. I remember when my father only had dial-up because he lives pretty much in the woods, and my mom had high speed because she lived right in Elsipogtog, it was so frustrating to use my dads internet, drove me insane. He has high speed now, but his computer is way tooooo slow.
The world is moving fast, and we all need faster connections!!! hehe owell.
I don't think I could ever give up my high speed connection. I am addicted, and if anything faster comes out, I will surly want it.

I'm glad I'm back in class, I haven't been here because of personal stuff at home. But I'm really happy to be back in the class. Gets me outta the house and away from my lovely children couple times a week.
I'm enjoyin tonights class because it's nice to hear about blogging, and about all nooks and cranny's of the world wide web.

Presentations

I think everyone did a wonderful job tonight on their presentations. I'm sorry for missing Weds nights presentations, but we were locked out of the school here in Elsipogtog.
Everyone must be relieved that the end is near. I am getting excited to get into the second part of this course. I hope all goes well with everyone. Laters

Videos

I wish I had a camera that had a good video option on it. My video taking is not very good. I have tried to upload some videos of my kids on facebook, but I have no sound. My parents have a camcorder, but I really do not know how to use it.
My cousin are always taking videos, and they love it. I wish I had some of their skills with technology. They are way younger then me, so answers why they are so good with it.
I love looking at new things on Youtube, esp if it has to do with Elsipogtog. Someone always put a few videos a month on there that are from here. It is entertaining and sometimes really funny.
Well I really do not know much about videos, but I should learn, since kids are so into them.

Digital Cameras

tonight we are learning how to use cameras properly, and learning tips how to take nice pictures. I'm really enjoyin it because i really don't know how to take nice pictures. most classrooms are starting to use real life pictures instead of ordering posters and stuff. more classrooms need their own cameras so that the poster being made for the classroom will have the children's pictures that are in that classroom. the children will feel more welcome or at home when they see their own faces.

I really wanted to say that I enjoyed last weds class. I really don't know how smart boards work, and never knew how useful they are. I would like to learn hands on how to use on. I know if I do become a teacher someday, the smartboard will probably the greatest tool in the classroom, besides great minds. hehe

Hi!!
I wanted to say that my daughter loves using computers. She's 6 years old, and know how to go on msn, you tube, and all the kid sites, like family.ca and all that good stuff. She also had webkins or whatever those are, and I have no idea how to help her on her webkins!! lol, Doesn't that say a lot. Children these days are so into computers, and hand held games, that I never really had till I was like 14 or so. Times do change very rapidly don't they?
My one year old always tries to type, loves listening to music on the computer and she'll probably be surfing the "web" within the next year!!!
I think that it is going to be a "must" soon for all children in school to have a laptop. At the rate children are learning at now, they might even recieve a laptop as soon as they come out of the hospital afer they are born.LOL, owell that's my blog for today!!!

First Day

I enjoyed the first day of class because we talked about the history of the computer that no one really knows about, it was very interesting.
Right now I'm sitting here tryin to write this blog, and my youngest daughter Patience is busy trying to turn the music up.
I cannot wait to get into this class some more, sounds very interesting, and I know I'll learn more about the use of cyber space, and all the good things that computers can do for us.
